Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living assistance in residential settings, supporting 4-6 individuals per unit. You will aid with personal care, transportation, meals, and community activities, while documenting progress and maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 18+ years old, and basic computer skills; prior human services experience is preferred. Training and safety procedures are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with activities of daily living, personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community integration.
• Accurately document progress and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Make cost-effective purchases within the individual's budget and according to preferences.
• Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians and case managers.
• Report any abuse, medical or behavioral incidents per Sevita policy and external requirements.
• Ensure safety, participate in training, and support in scheduling and teamwork.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Working knowledge of computers
