Job summary

Community Resources for Independence (CRI) is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) in the Lewisburg, Middleburg, Selinsgrove and Sunbury area. DSPs earn $18.00 per hour and PCAs earn $14.00 per hour, supporting individuals with IDD, elderly, and veterans.

We offer flexible schedules, paid training, coaching, 24/7 support, and additional benefits like mileage reimbursement, retirement plans, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass background checks and clearances.
• Availability to work every other weekend, on holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks.
• Get paid to join clients on walks and fun activities in the community.
• Join clients for appointments, shopping, or other errands as needed.
• Help empower people to live independently and be part of the community.
• Support IDD clients in reaching goals outlined in their Service Plan.
• Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities.
