Job summary

Community Resources for Independence (CRI) in the Troy area is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to support individuals with IDD and elderly clients. You’ll assist with daily living, accompany clients to activities, and help empower independence with compassionate, reliable care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Able to pass a background check and clearances.
• Availability to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks.
• Join clients on walks and community activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and errands.
• Empower clients to live independently and engage with the community.
• Support IDD clients in meeting goals from their Service Plan.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment.
