Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate caregivers to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently in home and community settings. You will assist with daily living tasks, support personal hygiene, and help participants work toward personal goals with patience and respect.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Support participants in pursuing personal goals and participating in community activities.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and help participants maintain independence.
