Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caregiver to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in the community. You will assist with personal care, support life goals, and help participants engage in meaningful activities, while building trusted relationships with participants and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid drivers license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
