Dungarvin is a mission-driven provider of support services helping people live independently. As a Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will walk alongside individuals to support personal goals and daily living with dignity and respect.

You'll engage in community activities, document progress, and collaborate with teammates while delivering person-centered care and training to those with intellectual or developmental disabilities and other needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License (due to transporting persons served).
• Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served as required.
• Some roles may require own vehicle and auto-liability insurance.
• Patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Belief in giving people choice and control over their lives.
• Successful background clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to adults with mental health, intellectual and developmental, and/or physical disabilities.
• Support people as they develop skills, pursue personal goals, and participate in their communities.
• Provide encouragement, mentoring, and guidance with daily activities and life skills.
• Help individuals maintain comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
• Attend community activities, appointments, social events, and outings.
• Complete required documentation regarding services, progress, incidents, and important events.
