Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Tennessee Teaching License with Elementary endorsement.
• Knowledge of elementary math instruction and best teaching practices.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction.
• Commitment to high academic expectations and student success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily mathematics instruction aligned with Tennessee standards.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (IEPs, 504s, ELs, gifted).
• Use assessments to guide instruction, monitor progress, and implement interventions.
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate mastery.
• Foster mathematical reasoning and problem-solving through hands-on learning.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and admins to improve practice.
• Communicate progress with parents and guardians regularly.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and lesson plans per school policies.
