Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee teaching license with K–5 or K–8 endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Demonstrated success in teaching literacy at the elementary level.
• Strong knowledge of Tennessee Academic Standards and state assessments.
• Proficiency with integrating technology and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-based 4th Grade ELA lessons that integrate reading, writing, speaking, listening and language skills.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and plan interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams to analyze data and support student growth.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom activities.
