Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree with verifiable full-day experience in group care of children under six.
• Associate’s Degree or CDA with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education and one year of verifiable full-day experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with experience and commitment to acquire CDA within two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, healthy and safe classroom environment and communicate with parents.
• Demonstrate positive communication and professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Complete required forms, reports, and projects accurately and on time.
• Support implementation of lesson plans and monitor safety and health guidelines.
