Job summary

Paulding County School District seeks a Public Safety Instructor to join our Law and Public Safety team in Dallas, GA. The role supports instruction, safety programs, and compliance with state and district policies within a school environment.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom safety, integrating technology, and collaborating with educators and administrators to promote student success and high expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of verifiable occupational work experience in the field of Public Safety.
• The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students at an appropriate level.
• Provide content development.
• Assist all students in achieving academic standards and establishing high expectations for performance.
• Promote student engagement and provide appropriate assessments.
• Monitor student progress and respond to adequate and inadequate student performance.
• Maintain appropriate student behavior in the classroom.
• Integrate the use of technology and multi-media in the classroom.
• Follow work scheduling and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable and punctual manner.

Education
