Seminole State College of Florida seeks a Case Manager for the TRIO–Student Support Services grant to provide academic, personal, and career guidance to participants. You will monitor progress, help with degree planning, and connect students with tutoring and campus resources.

Responsibilities include advising on IAPs and career plans, supporting financial literacy, and assisting with program evaluation to ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
• Two years of professional experience in student advising or counseling in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Maintains active caseload and advises TRIO-SSS participants with success coaching and skill development.
• Assists students with developing, reviewing, and maintaining Individual Academic Plans (IAPs) and career plans.
• Coordinates tutoring and academic support services, connecting students with learning resources.
• Delivers financial and economic literacy education, including FAFSA guidance and financial aid processes.
• Monitors academic performance and intervenes when students face risks like probation or attrition.
• Provides career development support and assists with graduation or transfer planning.
• Plans and facilitates workshops, mentoring activities, and program events.
• Maintains compliance with federal eligibility and program reporting requirements.
