Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one assistance with academics and behavioral supports as needed and may lead small group activities.
• Assists teacher with general housekeeping, clerical duties and repair/maintenance of school equipment.
• Assists the teacher with executing instruction and evaluating its effectiveness, participates in planning.
• Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Maintains safety and order in the classroom and follows teacher directions.
