Job summary

Opportunity Partners in the Twin Cities is seeking an Employment Specialist II to coordinate support for people with disabilities toward independent community employment in the East Metro (North St Paul, Woodbury, St Paul).

The role includes Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a wage of $19.00 to $20.25 per hour based on experience. You will help individuals find placements, assess needs, and provide on-site training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Willing to support people with disabilities.
• Bachelor's or related degree may be required.
• Experience in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support people with disabilities in community-based employment.
• Assess needs, provide on-site training and document support.
• Deliver case management and communicate with IDT members.
• Develop and coordinate individualized employment support plans.
• Market services to potential employers to obtain referrals.
• Complete intake and annual paperwork to meet billing requirements.
• Help individuals develop work skills and gain independence.

Associate degree in related field
