MERS / Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Employment Specialist to join the North County Career Center team. The role focuses on intake, employment planning, employer relations, and job development to help participants secure and retain work.

The position supports the mission of changing lives through the power of work. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, with a bachelor’s degree and social service or sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree and social service or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and build relationships with employers.
• Driver's license and current insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Review referral information and conduct intake interviews to develop employment plans for participants.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and communicate participant activities.
• Use local job market data to develop employer contacts and secure opportunities.
• Complete agency paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
