Location: Travel between Orange/Durham Counties
Salary Range: $17.00- $19.00/hr DOE with ability to earn commission
Position Overview: OE Enterprises is a non-profit company with 50 years of experience serving individuals with disabilities in North Carolina. The Community Employment Specialist will help people with disabilities find and maintain competitive employment by connecting them with local employers, providing assessment, job readiness training, job matching, and coaching. The goal is to increase employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Orange, Alamance, Randolph, and surrounding counties, and to promote integrated employment over segregated options.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, able to work independently, and possesses patience, compassion, and effective communication skills. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and dependable transportation are required. Certifications in CPR, first aid, and NCI+ are preferred but can be provided. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
