Qualifications

• At least 1 year of paralegal experience in a litigation law firm.
• Paralegal certificate or other qualification meeting California requirements.
• Strong legal writing, proofreading, research, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Draft demand letters, complaints, motions, stipulations, deposition notices, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare mediation briefs and organize supporting exhibits.
• Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients regarding documents, discovery, and case developments.
• Organize and maintain case files and monitor important deadlines.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation support.
• Review prospective-client leads and assist with the intake process.
• Help evaluate and organize information from prospective clients.
• Support the intake process by monitoring follow-up and responsiveness.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Employment Litigation Paralegal

A growing plaintiff-side employment law practice is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Encino, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a wide range of employment litigation matters, from initial intake through litigation, mediation, and resolution.

Employment law experience is preferred but not required. Strong litigation paralegals with experience in other areas of civil litigation are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
