Qualifications

• Active admission in the state of the selected office.
• Strong research, writing, advocacy, and deadline-management skills.
• Experience across multiple employment-litigation matters (discrimination, wage/hour, retaliation).
• Ability to manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Exposure to hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment matters from initial assessment through resolution, with responsibility matched to experience.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and client reports; take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, investigations, and trial preparation.
• Handle wage/hour, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters; CA work may include PAGA/class actions.
• Advise employers on workplace compliance and risk.
