Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Employment Attorney focused on pre-litigation matters. You will manage high-volume employment cases, evaluate claims, draft demands, and negotiate settlements with employers and opposing counsel.

The ideal candidate is a California-licensed attorney with 1–10 years in employment law, strong negotiation and writing skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• 1–10 years of experience in employment law.
• Strong knowledge of California wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, and termination.
• Excellent negotiation, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload from intake through pre-litigation settlement.
• Analyze case facts to assess liability, damages, and claim value.
• Draft demand letters and review personnel files, pay records, and supporting documentation.
• Develop pre-litigation strategy to maximize case outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with employers and opposing counsel.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide case updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case notes in the firm's system.
