Job summary

TEEMA seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Los Angeles, CA office. The candidate should have 5–7 years of relevant experience, with strong credentials in employment law and litigation management.

Requirements include a JD, active California bar, and demonstrated ability in defending class and PAGA actions, with a track record in pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions. Trial experience is a plus; counseling on federal and state employment laws is expected.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required and active California bar admission.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
• Experience defending class and PAGA litigation matters; class/representatives’ actions preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills with an excellent academic record.
• Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions and conducting depositions.
• Experience advising on employment law at federal and state levels.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Defend class and PAGA litigation matters and advise on strategy.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and other court filings.
• Argue motions and conduct depositions as part of case development.
• Provide employment-law counseling under federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy and trial preparation.

Salary/Rate Range: $205,000 -$270,000
