Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership required.
• 1–5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
• Strong research and writing skills with effective oral advocacy.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment law matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial documents.
• Conduct legal research.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear regularly in court and argue motions.
• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist with trial preparation and serve as second chair at trial when appropriate.
