Qualifications

• 3-7 years of substantive litigation experience.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Employment litigation or labor & employment experience strongly preferred; other strong litigators may apply.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and substantive motions.
• Deposition experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in state and federal court.
• EEOC, NLRB, or other administrative agency experience is a plus.

Job description

A national law firm is seeking a Nevada- Licensed Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing Las Vegas team. This position offers the opportunity to join an established employment practice while working closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated matters. The firm provides strong mentorship, professional development opportunities, substantive responsibility, and flexibility through a hybrid or remote work arrangement.

Candidates with direct employment litigation experience are preferred, although attorneys coming from a broader commercial, civil, or defense litigation background will also be considered if they have strong litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in employment law.

The Role

The Associate will work on a range of employment-related disputes and counseling matters, representing employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.

Responsibilities include:
