Job summary

Livelihood Law represents employees in employment matters and is hiring one or more associates with at least three years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience to join our team. We take cases seriously, litigate to win, and mentor associates who manage their own caseloads from intake through trial.

Qualifications

• Active admission to the Colorado bar.
• 3+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy with discovery and depositions.
• Experience with summary judgment practice.
• Trial experience or a strong desire to obtain it.
• Passion for workers’ rights and a collaborative approach.
• Wage/hour experience or Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage their own caseload from intake through trial.
• Take and defend depositions, brief dispositive motions.
• Practice in agencies, arbitrations, and state and federal court.
• Provide real mentorship and a voice in how the firm runs.
• Collaborate in a small, supportive team and assist office staff.

Livelihood Law represents employees in employment matters like discrimination, retaliation, and wage claims. We are hiring one or more associates with at least three years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience to join our team.

We take cases because they matter, and we litigate them to win. Our attorneys manage their own caseloads from intake through trial, take and defend depositions, brief dispositive motions, and practice in agencies, arbitrations, and state and federal court. You’ll get real mentorship, real responsibility, and a voice in how the firm runs. We’re a small, collaborative firm. We talk through strategy together, back each other up, and enjoy working together. Our attorneys are supported by an office manager, a receptionist, and a paralegal.

What we’re looking for:

• Active admission to the Colorado bar.
• 3+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, with experience in discovery, depositions, and summary judgment practice.
• Trial experience, or a strong desire to get it.
• A passion for workers’ rights, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to maintain your sense of humor.
• Wage and hour experience or Spanish fluency is a plus.

What we offer:

• Salary of $90,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
