Jackson Lewis P.C. in Cleveland seeks an attorney to defend and litigate a broad range of employment-related claims and to advise employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, possess 5+ years of litigation experience with an employment-law emphasis, and be admitted to the Ohio bar. First- or second-chair experience is preferred, with excellent written and oral communication.

This position will sit in our Cleveland location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.
• Active Ohio bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.

For Cleveland, the expected salary range for this position is between $180,000 and $217,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
