Job summary

Empowering Abilities in Davenport, IA seeks an Employment Lead to support Employment Services operations, guide staff, and help participants build skills for meaningful work. The role oversees Prevocational, Career Exploration, and Community Employment Services, while fostering participant, staff, and community employer partnerships.

Starting wage is $17.50/hr. This full-time position requires a flexible or rotating schedule between 5:30am-8pm and may include weekends about 1 in 3-5.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to meet employment requirements (health screening, Driving Record, TB test).

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect
• Lead and document minutes of the weekly Employment Services meeting
• Conduct observations on staff to ensure quality of services
• Train new job coaches and complete the Employment Lead portions of orientation packet
• Lead and coordinate job development activities to secure community work sites

The Employment Lead oversees Prevocational, Career Exploration, and Community Employment Services while supporting participants, staff, and community employer partnerships.
