Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Labor & Employment Counsel in Atlanta to advise on employment matters, ensure compliance, and support investigations and litigation alongside cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will draft and negotiate employment agreements and provide training to HR and non-lawyers.

The role requires a Juris Doctor and active bar membership (Georgia preferred), with 3–5 years of labor and employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and employment advice to internal clients and oversee compliance efforts.
• Manage outside counsel on employment-related litigation.
• Handle routine administrative claims before state and federal agencies.
• Gather evidence through document reviews and interviews to formulate defense or initiate action.
• Research employment-related laws, rulings, and regulations impacting the business.
• Provide training to HR and non-lawyer staff on employment topics.
• Assist with or conduct ad hoc L&E support for various divisions, including government subcontracting and regulated healthcare when needed.
• Review discovery requests and comment on briefs and motions by outside counsel.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings and trials, sometimes as lead attorney.
