Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Employment & Labor experience.
• Strong background in employment litigation.
• Experience with wage and hour class actions and PAGA.
• Litigation in CA state/federal courts and arbitration.
• Employment counseling and advisory experience.
• Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of sophisticated employment litigation.
• Wage and hour class actions and PAGA actions.
• Single-plaintiff employment disputes.
• Federal and state court litigation and arbitration.
• Discovery, motion practice, and case management.
• Provide strategic day-to-day counseling to employers.
• Draft and update employee handbooks and policies.
• Manage onboarding and separation documentation.
• Advise on leaves, accommodations, discipline.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on complex matters.
