An established law firm in Hartford/Stamford is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney for a hybrid, full-time role with a compensation range of $202,500 to $227,500 per year.

The candidate will advise on employment and labor law, handle litigation with partner oversight, and represent clients before state and federal agencies. Strong counseling, investigations, and policy drafting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employment and/or labor law experience.
• Connecticut bar admission required.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Connecticut state and federal court procedural and evidentiary rules.
• Experience handling employment litigation and administrative proceedings.
• Experience providing employment counseling and practical client advice.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work directly with clients and deliver strong service.

Overview

A well-regarded law firm with a sophisticated labor and employment practice and a strong base of institutional clients is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney. This role offers broad exposure to counseling, compliance, investigations, training, litigation, and agency work, with the opportunity to build a practice alongside an experienced, collaborative team known for high-quality work and strong client relationships.

What you'll do
