Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Job Title: Employment Counsel (30 Openings)

Location: Fully Remote (100% Work From Home)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Base Salary: $185,000 – $200,000 (Flexible based on experience and hours)

Hiring Goal: 30 positions to be filled by year-end

About The Role

We are partnering with a major national firm to hire 30 experienced Employment Counsel attorneys to join their team by the end of the year. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely in a highly reputable legal environment with a strong focus on work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage labor & employment cases and litigation matters
• Represent clients in hearings and employment-related legal proceedings
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on workplace and compliance issues
• Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards across jurisdictions
• Occasionally attend in-person hearings as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• 7+ years of labor & employment law experience in a law firm setting
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Must be admitted to the state bar of their state of residence
• Senior-level attorney capable of independent case management
  
  

Experience Level

• Senior-level attorneys (Partner-level equivalent preferred)
• Prior litigation experience in employment law is essential
  
  

Compensation Structure

• $185,000 – $200,000 base salary, depending on experience and billable hours
• Flexible structure:
• e.g., $120,000 for 1,400 billable hours
• up to $140,000 for 1,600 billable hours
• Standard expectation: 1,750–1,850 billable hours annually
• 10% annual performance bonus
• Unlimited PTO
• No business development obligations
