Job summary

Developmental Services, Inc. (DSI) is a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment and achieve inclusive community participation.

As an Employment Consultant, you will coach individuals one-on-one, explore career interests, build relationships with local employers, and provide on-the-job support to help candidates succeed. This role emphasizes coaching, problem-solving, and collaboration, with flexible scheduling and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in working with individuals with disabilities and supporting employment goals.
• Ability to build relationships with job seekers and employers.
• Dependable and flexible professional who can manage a schedule and work independently in the community.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in finding and keeping jobs by exploring interests, building skills, and preparing for work.
• Develop relationships with local employers and match candidates to opportunities.

As an Employment Consultant, you work one-on-one with individuals to help them find and keep meaningful employment. From exploring career interests to connecting with employers and providing on-the-job support, you play a key role in helping people succeed in the workplace. This is a hands-on, community-based role for someone who enjoys coaching, problem-solving, and building relationships.
