Job summary

Community Services League in the Kansas City region seeks a Vocational Coach to support job seekers with disabilities through individualized coaching, connections, and resources for better employment outcomes.

You will join an Employment Team to build relationships with VR partners, employers, and community resources, maintain caseloads, and assist with resumes, interviews, and barriers removal while upholding confidentiality and high standards.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor Degree in a related field such as human resources, job development or social services.

Responsibilities

• Manage client caseload and conduct intakes.
• Meet weekly with clients for job readiness and development.
• Assist clients to remove barriers to employment.
• Create resumes and cover letters tailored to job descriptions.
• Maintain documentation and weekly progress notes; ensure timely reporting.
