Job summary

Clarvida seeks an Employment Specialist/Case Manager to support Medicaid clients aged 16+ facing barriers to employment. You will assess strengths, tailor job readiness plans, and guide resume and interview preparation. The role blends advocacy, case management, and skills coaching to empower clients toward sustainable employment.

The position offers a hybrid work setting, travel to clients, and a competitive hourly pay range of $24–$29, with incentive-based pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services or related field; OR
• CESP Certification with 1 year of relevant/demonstrated experience; OR
• CRC Certification with 1 year of relevant/demonstrated experience
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Work with Medicaid clients aged 16+ with substance use disorders or behavioral/mental health diagnoses to aid employment.
• Assist with resume building, interview skills, and employment-related skills like relationship development and anxiety/depression management.
• Act as advocate, case manager, and skills coach to make a positive impact in clients' lives

About your Role:

As an Employment Specialist/Case Manager, you will work with Medicaid clients aged 16 and older who experience substance use disorders, or behavioral/mental health diagnoses, that hinder their ability to find employment. Working with your client, you will assess their strengths and interests to aid in the goal of finding employment. You will work together on resume building, interview skills, and employment skills such as relationship development and how to manage anxiety, depression, anger, etc. to maintain their position successfully. This position acts as an advocate, case manager, and skills coach, making a true impact in the lives of their clients.

Does the following apply to you?

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and two (2) years of relevant experience; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services, Social Services or related field; OR
• Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) Certification issued by the Employment Support Professional Certification Council (ESPCC) and one (1) year of relevant/demonstrated experience
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) Certification issued by the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Council (CRCC) and one (1) year of relevant/demonstrated experience
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and auto insurance
