Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an associate attorney with 3–5 years of experience in employment and labor law to join its growing practice in Parsippany, NJ. This role involves handling a wide variety of labor and employment matters, from litigation and agency proceedings to internal counseling and policy development. The position offers an opportunity to work with a collaborative legal team on complex employment issues affecting today's workplaces.

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey

Duties:

1. Represent employers in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts
2. Handle cases before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and NLRB
3. Participate in labor arbitrations and grievance proceedings
4. Advise employers on a range of labor and employment law issues
5. Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and policies
6. Conduct internal investigations into workplace complaints
7. Provide legal counsel on compliance with wage and hour laws, discrimination statutes, and labor relations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience practicing employment and labor law
• Proficiency in litigation, legal research, and client advisement
• Experience with claims involving discrimination, contract disputes, and wage/hour violations preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• Active admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing (CT and NY Bar admissions are a plus)

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications: Additional admissions (CT, NY) are advantageous
