Job summary

ACSET in Michigan seeks a Business Solutions Representative for a full-time, 40-hour week. You will be the primary liaison between ACSET and employers, delivering HR services including worker recruitment and program coordination.

Responsibilities include presenting Michigan Works! services to employers, marketing training programs, assisting with the state online data bank, analyzing labor market information, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience in business or workforce administration or related field.
• Computer skills to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet software.
• Written skills to prepare routine and special reports.
• Analytical skills to identify problems and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and present Michigan Works! services to employers, job seekers and the community.
• Market training programs to employers and coordinate requests for training.
• Provide technical assistance to employers using the State of Michigan online data bank.
• Maintain knowledge of the job seeker marketplace and provide labor market information to employers.
• Review employer input and make resource recommendations; coordinate collaborations.
• Represent Michigan Works! at career fairs, events and with community organizations.
• Prepare routine and special reports as needed.
• Ensure workforce development program outcomes in collaboration with staff.
• Build relationships with local and regional business communities and promote services.
