Job summary

Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking an Employer Services Specialist I to manage employer communications and provide education and troubleshooting for the web-based system, V3, and other Funds systems. The role reports to the Manager of Employer Relations and collaborates with multiple departments to resolve issues and ensure effective, long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with related experience preferred.
• Two years of customer service/relations experience recommended.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and web-based programs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Employers.
• Calculate remittance obligations and explain to Employers.
• Follow-up with Employers on unpaid invoices.
• Provide ongoing education and support of Funds' systems, programs, rules, policies, and benefits.
• Draft letters, e-mails, memoranda and educational materials.
• Collaborate with Senior Management across Contracts, IT, Audit, Billing and Collections.
