Job summary

Washington State University’s Academic Success & Career Center seeks an Employer Relations Manager to build strong ties with corporate and community employers and to raise awareness of WSU's career services for students and graduates. The role focuses on expanding recruiting activity, coordinating career events, and securing support for the center.

Based in Pullman, WA, the position is full‑time and may offer hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and evaluating events involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with company employers and invite them to engage WSU students.
• Increase job postings, recruitments, and hiring activity for students and graduates.
• Plan, implement and evaluate Career Expo/Fairs and related events.
• Recruit, hire, supervise and evaluate professional and undergraduate staff.
• Serve on committees to support the department and university mission.
