Job summary

LPL Financial in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a Manager of the Employer Plan Services (EPS) team to lead a group of about 20 service professionals. You will coach, set objectives, and drive performance while delivering exceptional service to advisors and investors.

You will partner with HR, manage timecards, hire top talent, and use frontline metrics to raise engagement and outcomes. This role requires a Bachelor's or 6+ years experience, SIE, and FINRA Series 7 or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years as a team lead or manager of a team.
• SIE Required.
• FINRA Series 7 or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and guide a team of about 20 service professionals, establishing performance and career objectives, providing coaching, and fostering motivation and team engagement to achieve optimal results.
• Coach team members in real-time, inclusive of coaching sessions after pain points are identified to further develop your team's call management skills.
• Support your team, advisors, and end clients through service escalations, as needed.
• Use performance reports, including individual frontline and team metrics to better coach, develop, and manage your team to performance.
• Identify team performance trends and areas for improvement to enhance team efficiency and advocate for additional resources when necessary.
• Identify, interview, and hire exceptional team members, ensuring thorough evaluation and strategic selection.
• Execute administrative management responsibilities, including timecard approvals, reviewing time-off requests, and monitoring attendance.
• Partner with HR colleagues and advise senior leadership on progressive counseling needs for team members, actively participating in the creation and presentation of action plans to enhance performance.
