Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based HR Consultant role within CHR Corporate Human Resources delivers employee relations services across functions and countries, acting as a single point of contact for efficient resolution while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0-2+ years' experience within a corporate HR environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work confidentially and professionally with all levels of employees.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel, Workday (or other system of record experience highly preferred), Salesforce (or other CRM experience highly preferred).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Office of Ethics & Compliance and Security with investigations related to Employee Relations issues.
• Maintain confidential ER data in systems and paper files.
• Provide professional service in accordance with the ER Service Level Agreement.
• Independently resolve Tier 1 cases and manage Tier 2 with guidance from manager.
• Understand customer’s ER requirements.
• Proactively bring forward solutions to address business requirements.
• Meet defined ER service level agreement.
• Implement solutions as directed and execute defined projects.

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the CHR Corporate Human Resources division. Executes the delivery of services to provide a single point of contact for efficiently providing highly accessible expert Employee Relations. Interfaces across multiple businesses and or countries and ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices.

What You’ll Work On

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00
