Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to join our Durham, NC or Burlington, NC team with hybrid flexibility.

The role conducts investigations, counsels managers, and partners with HR leaders to resolve complex employee relations issues while supporting a positive workplace culture. Hybrid schedule requires three in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience in Employee Relations (ER) or as an HRBP.
• Bachelor’s degree in HRM or Business Administration preferred.
• HR certifications such as SPHR-CP, SPHR-SCP, PHR, or aPHR encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed investigations into ER concerns (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence).
• Provides clear, timely communication and comprehensive reports with supporting documents.
• Manages cases using ServiceNow case management tool.
• Supports development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
• Coaches managers on Performance Improvement Plans.
• Partners with business leaders reviewing termination recommendations.
• Provides timely communication and documentation regarding investigations.
