Position Details

Work Type: Remote (Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex only)
Location: Must reside in DFW Metroplex and be able to visit our Farmers Branch, TX office as needed.
Hours: Full-time, exempt
Pay Range: USD $68,000 - $75,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Travel: Approximately 10%, primarily local travel with some out-of-state travel.

Role Overview

The Employee Relations Investigator addresses employee concerns, conducts investigations, and guides managers and employees on HR policies. This role collaborates with HR, Legal, and business partners to manage employee relations in a fast-paced environment, supporting a high-performance culture with a focus on equitable resolutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the first contact for employees and managers on employee relations issues, providing support and guidance.
  2. Support investigations by gathering information, conducting interviews, and documenting evidence.
  3. Maintain organized case records.
  4. Develop and deliver employee relations training programs.
  5. Assist in resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring timely and equitable outcomes.
  6. Coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and communication.
  7. Review and conclude formal performance management processes.
  8. Monitor employee concerns via Workday and escalate when necessary.
  9. Collaborate across functions to ensure a consistent employee relations experience.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 3 years in employee relations, investigations, performance management
  • Knowledge of US employment laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and California laws
  • Experience with Workday or similar case management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements

This role involves mostly sedentary work with some filing and movement, including sitting or standing for long periods, and the ability to lift files and operate office equipment.
