Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in internal auditing, corporate investigations, or human resources compliance.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and advanced interviewing skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Discretion with strict confidentiality regarding sensitive personal data.

Responsibilities

  • Review ethics hotline complaints and develop investigation plans.
  • Conduct confidential investigations partnering with EHS, HR, Legal, Trade Compliance, Quality, Operations.
  • Collect, document, and analyze evidence; conduct witness and subject interviews.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and outside counsel on sensitive issues.
  • Analyze investigation data to identify trends and mitigate compliance risks; recommend policy changes.
  • Plan and perform internal audits to verify compliance with policies and laws.
  • Draft investigation and audit reports with findings and recommendations for senior management.
  • Provide training and awareness initiatives to uphold ethical culture and standards.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Job description

The Employee Relations & Ethics Administrator is responsible for evaluating the company's compliance with its own policies, ethics and code of conduct, assessing organizational risks, conducting confidential investigations into alleged misconduct or policy violations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. They safeguard company assets and company culture and recommend process improvements to leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Intake & Strategy: Review incoming ethics hotline complaints and develop actionable investigation plans
  • Lead Audits and Investigations: Conduct objective, confidential investigations partnering with subject matter experts (EHS, HR, Legal, Trade Compliance, Quality, Operations) into allegations of fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, and ethical breaches and perform internal audits relative to the company’s compliance with its own policies and procedures.
  • Interviewing & Evidence: Collect, document, and analyze evidence, and conduct witness and subject interviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, and outside counsel when handling highly sensitive issues.
  • Risk Assessment: Analyze investigation data to identify trends, mitigate compliance risks, and recommend policy changes
  • Audit Execution: Plan and perform operational and internal audits to verify accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external laws.
  • Reporting: Draft comprehensive investigation and audit reports, outlining findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Ethics Promotion: Provide training and awareness initiatives to uphold the company’s ethical culture and compliance standards.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel 50% of the time
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in internal auditing, corporate investigations, or human resources compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and advanced interviewing skills. Must exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence and objective judgment
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • Discretion: Must possess an impeccable level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive personal data
