This position provides Employee Relations (ER) consulting services for the McKesson Specialty Provider Organization, including The US Oncology Network and Intrafusion, under the direction of the Manager, Employee Relations. The role involves consulting with HR practitioners and managers on employee issues, managing ER hotline calls, reviewing involuntary terminations, and ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee ER issues reported through the hotline, conduct investigations, document findings, and escalate as needed.
• Manage the Separation Review process for involuntary terminations, including documentation review and legal consultation.
• Partner with HR for unemployment claims management.
• Collaborate with compliance and other departments on various projects.
• Work with HR and practice leadership to address performance issues and manage accommodations.
• Stay current on ER legal matters and maintain ER metrics.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• At least 2 years in Human Resources and 4+ years in Employee Relations.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• HR Certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of employment law and ER best practices.
• Experience with investigations, documentation, and managing ER issues.
• Strong consulting, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Working Conditions

• Travel: 10%
• Environment: Office, clinical practice, travel.
• Physical requirements: Standard office and travel by air and auto.
