Job summary

ISG, a multi-disciplinary architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design firm, seeks a Senior Architect in Des Moines, IA. You will lead the Iowa architecture team, grow client relationships, and own project performance while mentoring professionals and shaping the firm’s architectural direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional design experience and licensure in architecture
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture
• Experience in K-12, Sports + Recreation and Government + Cultural sectors is a plus
• Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually, in writing and speaking
• Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
• Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with diverse project teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the Iowa architecture team with ownership for its growth, development, and success
• Grow and strengthen client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and identifying new opportunities
• Lead project and design efforts from concept through completion with strong architectural judgment
• Build and develop your team by mentoring professionals and delegating responsibilities
• Own project performance including budgets, work plans, contracts, and quality control
• Leverage ISG’s multidisciplinary expertise to pursue innovative opportunities across geographies
