Job summary

Suburban Enterprises is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner in Wisconsin to own the master production schedule and balance demand with shop-floor capacity. You will work to ensure on-time delivery and optimize throughput in a hands-on, self-directed environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in finance or related field, 0–3 years of analytical experience, strong Excel and ERP exposure, and an interest in manufacturing cost accounting.

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the master production schedule (MPS) across all work centers.
• Balance demand, labor, equipment, and material availability.
• Establish and maintain realistic promise dates aligned with operations.
• Release work orders in priority sequence to support flow and due dates.
• Ensure routings, lead times, and work center capacities are accurate.
• Adjust schedules dynamically based on constraints, shortages, or changes.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to align material availability with schedules.
• Identify material, labor, or engineering constraints early and escalation.
• Prevent material-driven line stops through proactive planning.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required training.
