Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Center Warehouse Material Handler in Springfield, MO to ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped efficiently. The role relies on our Warehouse Management System and emphasizes safety and reliability.

Key requirements include the ability to lift heavy loads, pass a pre-employment physical, and maintain good attendance. The workweek is Mon-Fri with a 10:30am–7:30pm shift, and the starting pay is $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Prior large warehouse experience with WMS preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material via warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack LTL shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.
