Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Union Service Center Warehouse Material Handler in St. Louis, MO to move products through receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping using a Warehouse Management System. The role is employee-owned and offers growth opportunities within the company.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, receive and store materials, select and pack shipments, and keep the warehouse clean while following safety procedures and completing daily inspections. Steel-toed boots required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age 18.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
