Job summary

Graybar in Joliet, IL is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory. You'll operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts and use our Warehouse Management System to move items accurately.

Qualifications: 2+ years in a large warehouse preferred, ability to lift heavy loads, pass a pre-employment physical, and must be at least 18. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm, at $19.39/hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per WMS.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.
