American Metals Supply in Columbus, OH, is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead a hands-on, safety-focused team of about 7 including CDL drivers. You will oversee receiving, picking, packing, loading, and routing while maintaining accurate inventory and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of warehouse, inventory, distribution, and logistics processes.
• Comfortable using ERP and RF scanning systems.
• Forklift certification preferred; Class A CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations with safety and accuracy focus.
• Coach and develop a team of about 7 warehouse employees and CDL drivers.
• Oversee receiving, order fulfillment, loading, shipping, and delivery activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate delivery routing and scheduling for efficiency and service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, DOT requirements, and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity.
• Partner with sales, purchasing, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Be willing to step in and assist the team as needed.
