Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Take-Off Technology and Data Specialist to support take-off operations across plumbing, piping, sheetmetal, and process disciplines.

You will assist with system implementation, data standards, and pricing alignment while contributing to training and continuous improvement under the Take-Off Technology and Data Manager. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in mechanical construction, proficiency with take-off tools, and strong Excel/Power BI usage.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 3–5 years of mechanical construction experience, with exposure to estimating, take-off, or database management preferred.
  • Proficiency with take-off software; working knowledge of Revit, Stratus, Trimble, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems construction, fabrication, labor factors, and material take-offs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Take-Off Technology and Data Manager in maintaining and executing take-off processes, workflows, and tools.
  • Serve as a take-off software resource, helping troubleshoot issues and apply best practices under guidance.
  • Support updates to estimating databases to align pricing with procurement agreements and manufacturing standards.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and VDC teams to maintain database integrity across mechanical scopes.
  • Help build standardized take-off templates, assemblies, and workflows aligned with estimating standards.
