TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Foreman Pipefitter to supervise the assembly, installation and repair of piping systems for commercial and industrial projects in Texas.

The role requires leading craft workers, coordinating work packages, and ensuring adherence to designs and safety standards. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of foreman pipefitter experience, strong knowledge of construction procedures, and the ability to read drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs assembly, installation and repair of piping systems on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Prepares material take-offs, designs suitable systems, and creates isometric and schematic sketches from blueprints and specs.
  • Plans work packages, oversees schedules and staffing to meet construction deadlines.
  • Coaches and coordinates pipefitting crews; verifies staff certifications during scheduling.
  • Inspects work for conformance to specifications and safety standards.
  • Manages material placement, storage, and tool inventory; verifies submittals.
  • Identifies conflicts in contract documents and resolves issues.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Summary

Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for the piping trade during the construction, tenant finish-out or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.

Essential Duties
  • Prepare detailed material take-offs, design suitable systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches based on blueprints, specifications, submittals, and job orders for a variety of construction projects.
  • Engage in comprehensive job planning for work packages, oversee construction/manufacturing schedules, manpower requirements, and ensure optimal staffing levels by leveraging expertise in equipment and tools.
  • Coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to craft workers (piping trade). Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery. Verifies all staff certifications when scheduling personnel on a project.
  • Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminates construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
  • Coordinates placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan. Assists in maintaining assigned tool inventory.
  • Verifies that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
  • As required, works with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands.
  • Identifies conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.

Technical training or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter preferred.

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.

Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
