Job summary

Sundt is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality management system for construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and company standards. You will guide quality personnel, interact with clients and regulators, and drive continuous improvement across all project phases.

This role oversees ITPs, PQP, and documentation, with a focus on safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

8+ years in quality control with 3+ years in supervisory/management capacity.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quality assurance, or related field.
In-depth knowledge of quality systems and codes/standards relevant to construction or industrial projects.
Proficiency in document control systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and quality software (e.g., Procore, ACC, Bluebeam).
Proven leadership ability with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, documentation practices, and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

Assign inspection tasks and manage team performance to ensure timely inspections and documentation.
Develop, implement, and manage the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and align with requirements.
Ensure all work, materials, and processes comply with specs and codes.
Establish project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality standards.
Generate and deliver quality reports, trend analysis, and metrics.
Lead or support quality-related meetings, walkdowns, turnover processes.
Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, CARs, audits.
Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Serve as main contact for client quality reps, third-party agencies, regulatory bodies.
Supervise and evaluate a team of Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers.
